Berry Smoothie Bowl

A thick, spoonable berry smoothie piled with crunchy toppings - breakfast that feels like dessert.

Ingredients

  • 200 g frozen mixed berries
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 3 tbsp yogurt
  • 50 ml milk
  • to top granola and seeds

Instructions

  1. Blend frozen berries, banana, yogurt and just enough milk until thick.
  2. Spoon into a bowl and smooth the top.
  3. Arrange granola, fresh fruit and seeds on top.
  4. Serve immediately with a spoon.

💡 Chef's tip

Blend with as little liquid as your blender allows, pushing the fruit down rather than adding more milk.

The key is a much thicker blend than a drinkable smoothie: use frozen fruit and minimal liquid so it holds a spoon and the toppings sit on top instead of sinking.
