Ingredients
- 200 g Greek yogurt
- 100 g mixed berries
- 50 g granola
- 1 tbsp honey
- to garnish mint
Instructions
- Choose a tall clear glass or jar so you can see the layers, and have your ingredients ready: thick Greek yogurt, granola, fresh fruit, and a little honey.
- Spoon a layer of about 80 grams (one third cup) of Greek yogurt into the bottom of the glass and smooth it level.
- Add a layer of fresh fruit such as berries or sliced banana, then sprinkle over a spoonful of granola for crunch.
- Repeat with another layer of yogurt, more fruit, and granola, building up until the glass is nearly full.
- Finish with a final dollop of yogurt, a scatter of fruit on top, and a light drizzle of honey for sweetness.
- Serve immediately while the granola is still crisp, or chill the yogurt and fruit ahead and add the granola right before eating.
💡 Chef's tip
Add the granola only just before eating, because layering it ahead of time lets it absorb moisture from the yogurt and lose the crisp crunch that makes a parfait so satisfying.
Layering rather than stirring keeps the granola crisp against the creamy yogurt; mixed in, it turns soft within minutes.
