Air Fryer Egg Rolls

Air Fryer Egg Rolls

Air fryer egg rolls are shatteringly crispy on the outside with a savory pork and vegetable filling inside, all with minimal oil. They deliver the crunch of deep-fried without the mess. Serve them hot with sweet chili or soy dipping sauce.

Ingredients

  • 12 egg roll wrappers
  • 300 g ground pork
  • 3 cups cabbage, shredded
  • 1 carrot, shredded
  • 1 tbsp each garlic and ginger
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • as needed oil spray

Instructions

  1. Stir-fry the pork with the garlic and ginger until cooked.
  2. Add the cabbage and carrot and cook until wilted, then stir in the soy sauce and cool.
  3. Place filling on each wrapper, fold in the sides, and roll tightly, sealing with water.
  4. Arrange in the air fryer basket and spray with oil.
  5. Air fry at 195C (390F) for 8 to 10 minutes, turning once, until golden and crisp.
  6. Serve hot with dipping sauce.

💡 Chef's tip

Seal the wrappers well with a dab of water and do not overfill; a tight roll keeps the filling in and crisps evenly.

Brushing or spraying the rolls with a thin layer of oil is what gives them their deep-fried crispness and golden color in the air fryer.
