Ingredients
- 12 jalapenos, halved and seeded
- 225 g cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar
- 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200C (400F).
- Mix the cream cheese, cheddar, bacon, and garlic powder into a filling.
- Spoon the filling into each jalapeno half.
- Sprinkle the tops with breadcrumbs.
- Arrange on a rack set over a baking sheet.
- Bake for 18 to 20 minutes until golden and bubbling, then serve warm.
💡 Chef's tip
Wear gloves when seeding the jalapenos and remove all the ribs for milder poppers, or leave some in for extra heat.
