Ingredients
- 1 tsp matcha powder
- 2 tbsp warm water
- 250 ml milk
- 1 tsp honey
- 1 cup ice
Instructions
- Sift matcha into a cup and whisk with warm water until frothy.
- Stir in honey.
- Fill a glass with ice and milk.
- Pour the matcha over and stir.
💡 Chef's tip
Sift the matcha before whisking - even a small clump will not break down once liquid is added.
Whisking the matcha with a little warm water first (not cold milk) dissolves the powder smoothly, avoiding the clumps that ruin a cold-mixed matcha.
