- 300 g ground pork
- to taste green onion and ginger
- 1.2 L chicken broth
- to season soy and sesame oil
Instructions
- Mix the ground pork with chopped green onion, grated ginger, soy sauce, and sesame oil.
- Place a small spoon of filling in the center of each wrapper.
- Wet the edges, fold, and press out the air to seal tightly.
- Bring the broth to a gentle simmer and season it with soy and sesame oil.
- Lower in the wontons and simmer gently for 5 minutes until they float and the filling is cooked.
- Ladle into bowls with some greens and serve hot.
💡 Chef's tip
Cook the wontons gently in barely simmering broth, since a hard boil tears their delicate wrappers.
Sealing each wonton with a dab of water and pressing out the air prevents them from bursting open in the simmering broth.
