Ingredients
- 3 ripe avocados
- 1 lime
- 1/4 red onion, diced
- 2 tbsp cilantro
- 1/2 tsp salt
Instructions
- Mash half the avocado with lime juice and salt.
- Cube the rest and fold in.
- Stir in onion and cilantro.
- Serve with chips or tacos.
💡 Chef's tip
Press plastic wrap directly onto the surface if storing - air is what turns guacamole brown.
Mashing only half the avocado and folding in the rest in chunks gives guacamole its signature texture, instead of a uniform paste.
