Ingredients

  • 4 slices thick bread
  • 2 eggs
  • 120 ml milk
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. Whisk eggs, milk and cinnamon in a shallow dish.
  2. Soak each bread slice 20-30 seconds per side.
  3. Cook in buttered pan over medium heat until golden both sides.
  4. Serve with syrup and fruit.

💡 Chef's tip

Let each slice soak 20-30 seconds per side so the custard reaches the center, then cook on medium so it sets through.
