Air Fryer Pork Chops

Air Fryer Pork Chops

Air fryer pork chops turn out golden outside and remarkably juicy inside, with barely any effort. The fast, even heat seals in moisture so these never dry out the way pan or oven chops can. A simple spice rub is all they need.

Ingredients

  • 2 thick pork chops, bone-in
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Pat the pork chops dry and rub with oil and the mixed spices.
  2. Preheat the air fryer to 200C (400F).
  3. Place the chops in a single layer in the basket.
  4. Air fry for 6 minutes, then flip.
  5. Cook 5 to 8 minutes more until the internal temperature reaches 63C (145F).
  6. Rest the chops 5 minutes before serving so they stay juicy.

💡 Chef's tip

Choose chops at least 2 cm thick, as thin chops overcook before they brown.

Pulling the chops at an internal temperature of 63C (145F) and letting them rest is the key to juicy pork, since carryover heat finishes them without drying.
